REGA R200 - RB250 - RB300 and RB600 armboard for Systemdek IIX turntables
This board is made of high-quality perspex, laser-cut and hand-finished and is the perfect match between your Systemdek turntable and your REGA tonearm.
This board is a snug fit for the Rega tonearm and for the turntable's fixing screws, respect of the strict offset is guaranteed.
Why perspex?
On the market you’ll find different arm boards made from different materials, we choose perspex for various reasons:
1) Resonance, aluminium boards are very nice and sturdy but have a high resonance frequency, besides they tend to transmit high-frequency vibration to the arm, while MDF or wood damps too much with a loss in high frequencies definition and muddier bass tones. Perspex is still very rigid but damps unwanted vibrations maintaining sound definition.
2) Aesthetics, the high gloss finish will give your turntable an even more classy look.
The board is supplied with MDF spacers to fit your Systemdek perfectly; a simple instruction sheet is included with every board.
All our boards carry a two years warranty against any material of manufacture defect, of course, you can return you board within 30 days if you change your mind or you discover that the board does not fit your need or meet your expectations.
Of course, the tonearm, turntable and cartridge showed in some pictures are NOT included

Going from the original 9mm mdf board on Systemdek iix to a 3mm acrylic was too tempting a prospect in hope of reducing vibrations coming through from the motor spindle. It certainly helped especially after mounting the new VS board on vibration damping material instead of supplied mdf spacers. Looks great and sounds better. Worth a punt.
I had inherited an old Systemdek iiX with a Linn Basik LVX and an aging K9 cartridge. The sound was ok, but not great (I was used to an LP12/Ittok/OC9). I bought a used Rega RB250, and of course needed to change the arm board.
It was a quick and easy job to make the changes using the instructions that came with the arm board. The improvements are actually huge, not sure how much is due to replacing the aging K9 with an AT VM540ML, or the arm/arm board, but I'm very satisfied now.
